A dose-escalation schema of everolimus over 3 weeks can be successfully used to reduce the incidence of high-grade stomatitis in the first 12 weeks of treatment in patients with hormone receptor positive (HR+)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-) metastatic breast cancer.“
