We conduct numerous translational research projects together with national and international cooperation partners. When reviewing cooperation requests, it is important to us that planned projects address current scientific questions of high clinical relevance and particular methodological quality.
The goal is to successfully contribute to the fundamental understanding of breast cancer disease and therapy and to share this knowledge with the scientific community via international publications. An overview of our achievements to date can be found here in our publications.

Likewise, we have been successfully soliciting funding from external funding institutions (including BMBF, Europäische Union, Deutsche Krebshilfe) for many years. Within the framework of these collaborative research projects, important questions of basic research are investigated which, due to their complexity, require the coordinated collaboration of different specialised institutes.
