GBG Forschungs GmbH is an independent and academic research institute (ARO) that develops, conducts and evaluates clinical study projects to improve the treatment options for breast cancer. Our cooperation partners include companies and organizations from science, research and industry. The company, based in Neu-Isenburg, currently employs around 140 people.

In total, more than 68,000 patients have been included in GBG studies to date. These range from important academic registry studies to international approval studies of drugs with approx. 200 to 400 centres.

As part of our medicine and research department, we are looking for a

Medical Advisor for scientific research (all genders)

Your main tasks

Supervision of clinical trials with responsibility for the medical content and patient safety including medical monitoring, pharmacovigilance and evaluation of reference documents
Medical advice for external study physicians and internal project partners on all studies and projects carried out at GBG
Planning and development of study protocols and amendments, writing of clinical study reports and development safety update reports
Collaboration on scientific contributions to leading international congresses and publications with global reach on clinical trials and translational research projects
Opportunity for your own scientific work and publishing
Regular active participation in our subboard meetings with external key opinion leaders
Active participation in internal and external workshops, events, including lecturing activities

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree in human medicine and have completed specialist training (gynaecology & obstetrics or internal medicine - ideally with experience in gynaecological oncology and/or haemato-oncology)
You have experience with scientific work and clinical studies, including work according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
Ideally, knowledge of writing scientific publications in German and English
You like to work independently in a highly motivated and dynamic team
You have the following skills: strong communication skills, analytical way of working and thinking, as well as good time and organizational management
You are tech-savvy and confident in dealing with MS Office applications, as well as MS Teams and reference management software (e.g. EndNote)
You have a very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
